Lavender Cottage lies deep within a woodland setting at Tehidy. Tehidy Country Park itself sits within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, with its miles of paths and cycle trails.

Close to the North Coast of Cornwall, famous for surfing and miles of golden sands. The nearby beaches of Portreath and Gwithian are both patrolled by RNLI lifeguards. Portrteath is just five minutes away by car. The coastal footpath can be accessed from the cottage, via numerous paths and trails that take you through the woods, past lakes with swans and ducks — a haven for wildlife.

Leave your car behind and walk directly from the cottage door to the golf course — just a short walk away. View the 18th and 6th hole from the cottage garden.

Lavender Cottage is the perfect location for dog owners, with dog friendly beaches a short drive away. Walk from the garden gate into the 42 acre Tehidy Country Park which provides an open paradise for your dog.

Easy access to the A30 which takes you to the west of Cornwall, or east to Truro (10 miles) and south to Falmouth (12 miles), or explore the famous North Coast via Gwithian Towans to St Ives along the picturesque coastal road.
